The window replacement project is almost complete .  Final touches will take place over the Spring Break.  We are waiting for our window shades.  All work will take place overnight so there will be no class disruption.

From the Principal

Dear Families,

Our bake sale for the Red Cross Haiti
Relief Fund was a resounding success.
As the children came to school with
their donations for the cause, one could
only be impressed with the outpouring
of kindness shown by our community.

What made the day so special, in addition
to the bake sale for a good cause, was the
strong sense of the Jefferson Community
coming together.  From 8:00 AM on, people
rolled up their sleeves, brought goods,
organized tables, made labels, and sold goods.

Everyone was cheerful, smiling, and happy.
There was a sense of dedication and good will
that went throughout the building.

It was wonderful to see a school and a community
focused on kindness and giving.  I thank everyone
for coming together and making Jefferson a school
that CARES.

Sincerely,
